This long-awaited Formula 1 event is set in the heart of the city. The new 6.2 km, 17-turn street circuit snakes through iconic landmarks like Caesars Palace, the Bellagio, and the Venetian, offering a thrilling race experience with average speeds akin to those at Monza, F1’s ‘Temple of Speed’.
This is your chance to see the likes of Lewis Hamilton, Max Verstappen, Charles Leclerc, and many more as they battle for the glory of the 2024 F1 season. For F1 fans, this is a must-attend event, especially after the excitement of the 2023 inaugural race.

Get tickets while you still can!
To watch the race with your own eyes, you’ll need to get tickets. There are various ticket options available, from VIP packages to grandstand seating and general admission. While a 3-day general admission ticket starts at $1,050 USD on the F1 site, you may be able to find cheaper ticket options on VEGAS.com — at the moment they have 1-, 2- or 3-day tickets for sale.

(ICYMI) Usher: Past Present Future Tour
If you missed your chance to see Usher live at his Las Vegas residency last year, you’re in luck—he’s coming back to town this November for his “Past Present Future” tour.
After wowing fans at Caesars Palace, Park MGM, and even the Super Bowl LVIII halftime show, Usher returns to deliver another unforgettable concert to his fans.
With a career that began in the ‘90s, he’ll be performing iconic hits like “Superstar”, “Yeah!”, “My Boo”, and “U Remind Me”. Expect an immersive, interactive concert filled with stimulating visuals, incredible dance moves, and all the energy Usher is known for.
Maybe we’ll even catch him in rollerskates again. Don’t miss your chance to catch him live in Las Vegas!
Neon City Festival (FREE)
Neon City Festival, happening from November 22-24, is an all-new and completely free all-ages event taking place in Downtown Las Vegas.
Expect live music across multiple genres, fireworks, laser spectacles, art exhibits, and immersive experiences, all hosted in the Fremont East Entertainment District and the Arts District.
This open format festival will extend as far south as The STRAT, as far west as the Plaza Hotel & Casino, as far north as the Mob Museum, and as far east as East Fremont Street.
With delicious food trucks, interactive art displays, nightly fireworks, and even drone shows, it’s set to be Vegas’ largest free festival.
Play some ‘crazy golf’ at Swingers
At Swingers, you’ll discover what the Brits call ‘crazy golf’. Alongside inventive mini-golf course layouts and a cocktail or two, you’ll find fun bars, street food, live DJs, and the friendliest of staff.
Swingers started in 2014 as a pop-up in Shoreditch, London to test the concept of combining crazy golf with cocktails and street food. The success of this pop-up led to the first permanent location opening in London in 2016, followed by a second venue in Oxford Circus in 2018.
After expanding to a couple of locations within the USA, Swingers has now opened a Vegas location at Mandalay Bay Resort & Casino!
The 3-story, 40,000-square-foot, 36-hole, adults-only miniature golf venue will open on the Strip on November 8th.
The venue features four “crazy” golf courses, multiple bars and eateries, and a carnival arcade concept — all decorated to feel like you’re at an English country estate. Each golf course will have a unique layout with obstacles like moving windmills and carousels, jumps, and loops.
You can even head to the Sunken Garden area at night for cocktails, vibing, and dancing.
Catch the Eagles at Sphere
The Eagles will be performing at the Sphere in Las Vegas, offering fans an incredibly epic live concert experience.
Known for their iconic hits like “Hotel California” and “Take It Easy,” the band will deliver a residency show that combines their classic rock sound with impressive visuals and effects that only Sphere can produce.
Along with other dates from September 2024 to January 2025, Eagles are set to perform from November 1-9, providing a great opportunity to enjoy their timeless music in one of Vegas’s most unique venues.
See the seasonal displays at the Bellagio Conservatory
One totally free must-see attraction in November (any time of the year, really) is the rotating display at the Conservatory & Botanical Gardens.
Every few months or so, the talented Horticulture and Engineering teams transform the 14,000-square-foot Botanical Gardens into a showcase of inspiring sights, sounds, scents, and colors!
Depending on when you go, you’ll be able to enjoy a different landscape featuring Spring, Summer, Fall, and Winter, along with a special display for Lunar New Year.
For the first week of November, the incredible Fall-themed display will be bursting with autumn colors and whimsical floral arrangements that capture the essence of the season. For the latter chunk of the month, the festive holiday season is celebrated.
We’ve seen more of these seasonal displays than we can count on both hands, yet we keep coming back because they’re all so spectacularly pretty. This is a not-to-be-missed attraction, and it’s totally free!
The 2024 Fall display runs from 9/14/2024 – 11/9/2024. The Winter display will run from 11/16/2024 – 1/4/2025.
Miss Behave’s Mavericks Show
If you missed your chance to watch this show when it debuted at Fremont Street’s Cheap Shot, get ready for your second chance this fall: Miss Behave’s Mavericks has found a new home at Plaza Hotel’s historic showroom, starting October 2!
This quirky variety show blends circus, comedy, burlesque, and vaudeville. Because of its always-changing acts and reliance on audience participation, no two shows are ever the same.
“It’s gonna be like the Muppet Show running riot round this beautiful ol’ Dame. We can’t wait,” said Miss Behave (Amy Saunders) in a media release. “It’s a marriage made in heaven. This beautiful showroom has been looking for an excuse to show off, and Mavericks is perfect for that. Let’s make Las Vegas Vegas again!”
Tickets range from $35 to $99 (no pesky ticket fees!) and are now on sale.
Colin Cloud: MASTERMIND
Award-winning mentalist Colin Cloud, known as the “closest thing to a real-life Sherlock Holmes”, has debuted his new show at Harrah’s Las Vegas. He will strive to solve the greatest mystery of all: you.
Launched in July 2024, this new electrifying show features Cloud’s enticing blend of deduction, mentalism, and comedy in a jaw-dropping exploration of the human mind.
Glittering Lights at Las Vegas Motor Speedway
Experience the enchantment of the holiday season at Glittering Lights, a drive-through lights show where you can roll along a 2.5-mile course adorned with millions of dazzling lights.
Hosted by the Las Vegas Motor Speedway, Glittering Lights has been a beloved holiday tradition in Vegas for over 20 years, spreading Christmas cheer while supporting Speedway Children’s Charities.
Whether you prefer to drive at your own pace or hop aboard the Santa Tram for a guided tour, we think you’re sure to feel the winter magic regardless.
You can see Glittering Lights from November 8 to January 5. Tickets are per car, no reservations are required.
Grab holiday-themed drinks at Miracle Bar
Experience the holiday magic at Miracle on Spring Mountain, one of North America’s most beloved holiday pop-up bars, now back in Las Vegas for another festive season.
Indulge in their super cute and themed holiday cocktail menu, boasting a selection of 12 drink options, each brimming with seasonal flavors to ignite your holiday cheer. Savor the Snowball Old Fashioned, crafted with rye and gingerbread, or opt for one of the two shots: Naughty, featuring cinnamon spiced bourbon, and Nice, offering gingerbread spiced rye.
They also sell their cute little mugs and shot glasses, so if you fall in love with one of them (like I did), you can bring a little souvenir home with you for next year’s holiday drinks!
The pop up holiday bar operates on a first-come, first-serve basis. No reservation required. They also strongly encourage you to arrive in your most festive, Christmas attire!
Catch a fun musical at the Smith Center
November brings a lineup of exciting musicals to the Smith Center as part of their Las Vegas Broadway series.
First up, from November 1st to 3rd, is Back To The Future – The Musical. Later in the month, from November 26th to 30th, join Shrek, Fiona, and Donkey in the enchanting Shrek – The Musical, a stage adaptation of the Oscar-winning DreamWorks film that promises magic and fun for all ages.
Can’t make it to these shows? No worries! There’s plenty more to see throughout the month, and if all else fails, you can always catch Menopause The Musical at Harrah’s, running all month long.
Walk the Strip and see the iconic sights
Cooler weather means you’ll last longer when walking the Strip. After all, you won’t have 100-degree sunlight beating down on you during November!
This is the perfect time to see and do all the outdoor Las Vegas attractions you’ve had on your list, such as seeing the Bellagio Fountain show, cruising on a gondola ride at The Venetian, exploring the LINQ Promenade, ziplining on Fly LINQ, and more.
If you’re daring enough, head to the north side of the Strip to try out the hair-raising SkyJump at The STRAT. This heart-pumping open-air bungee jump will see you hurtling at speeds of up to 40mph from a height of 855 feet!

See a Las Vegas show
Las Vegas has a world-class theater scene. From burlesque to magic, Cirque de Soleil to comedy, there is a show for every type of person and every sort of budget. And the best part is, there’s a show happening every single night in Vegas.
A few of our favorite shows playing right now include:
Awakening – The Wynn’s brand-new spectacular production featuring fantastical creatures, dazzling visuals, compelling narrative, and a touch of lighthearted comedy. This is our #1 fave in all of Vegas right now.
Absinthe – Caesars Palace’s daring and provocative Las Vegas show that combines jaw-dropping acrobatics, risqué comedy, and awe-inspiring feats of strength and agility in an immersive circus-style setting.
“O” at Bellagio: Another mesmerizing Cirque du Soleil show, “O” combines water, acrobatics, and theatrical performances to create a unique and romantic experience.
Explore Red Rock Canyon
If you’re looking for the perfect outdoor adventure now that the weather in Vegas is cooler, Red Rock Canyon is where it’s at.
During the month of November, the weather is prime for outdoor activity. It’s no surprise that Red Rock comes alive with both day hikers and rock climbers.
We like to go there for the hiking. There are both easy and challenging trails to choose from, making this a great option if you want to burn off all those Las Vegas buffet calories. Some of the most popular hikes here include the Calico Tanks Trail (2.2 miles roundtrip), Turtlehead Peak Trail (4.6 miles roundtrip), and Ice Box Canyon Trail (2.3 miles roundtrip).
If you’d rather not deal with the logistics of how to get there (or want to visit the park without hiking), there are tour companies that will take you there and show you the park in all its glory.
Go hiking at Valley of Fire State Park
Another otherworldly park to hike at is Valley of Fire State Park. Yes it is a bit farther away from Vegas compared to Red Rock, but the 1.5-hour drive is so worth it.
Personally, this is one of my favorite parks in all of Nevada — I love it even more than the Grand Canyon! Why? Because you’ll almost feel like you’re hiking on Mars.
If you only have time to do one hike, make it the 3.2-mile Fire Wave, White Domes, and Seven Wonders Loop.
Again, the weather in November is perfect for exploring the many miles of hiking trails and marveling at ancient petroglyphs etched into the rocks.
Visit a national park or two
If you’re open to venturing out further, you’ll be glad to know that there are at least three national parks within driving distance from Las Vegas.
From Vegas, you can easily visit Grand Canyon National Park and explore the breathtaking landscapes of the United States’ most recognizable natural monument.
If you’re up for a longer adventure, a 2.5-hour drive will bring you to the spectacular views of Bryce Canyon National Park and Zion National Park.
These two parks showcase the wild landscapes of Utah, complete with orange-y red canyons, mountains, hoodoos (spindly rock formations), the world-famous Narrows hike and Angels Landing, and the famous Checkerboard Mesa.
Don’t have a car? Not a problem. There are lots of tour companies that’ll bring you out there as part of a full-day tour. They’ll take care of the driving and the itinerary so all you have to do is bring your camera, a comfortable pair of shoes, and your excitement.
Tips For Visiting Las Vegas In November
- Although daytime temperatures can be warm and pleasant, evenings can still get chilly. Pack layers to stay comfortable throughout the day and into the night, especially if you plan to be out late.
- Even though the weather is not blazing desert hot just yet, the sun is usually still shining brightly during the day. Sunscreen is a must, especially if you’re doing outdoor activities.
- If you plan on doing a lot of paid attractions, Go City can save you money on multiple attractions with their All-Inclusive Pass or Explorer Pass.
- Las Vegas is a popular destination in November because of F1. Unless you want to spend thousands of dollars on your trip, avoid visiting during the weekend of Nov 21-23. For those of you who are going to experience F1, you’ll want to book EVERYTHING (hotel rooms, restaurants, shows, watch parties, etc.) waaaaay in advance!
- Traffic on the Las Vegas Strip is usually bad at all times of the year, but it’s off-the-charts bad during F1 season. Plan to leave a lot earlier if you have reservations that require you to be somewhere at a specific time.
- Getting around by rideshare and taxi are equally as popular in Vegas. A taxi can even be cheaper than Uber/Lyft during peak hours, while an Uber/Lyft is cheaper during off-peak hours.
