Mother’s Day is the perfect excuse to spoil your mom a little—and Las Vegas has no shortage of ways to do it. Whether she’s into spa days, live shows, outdoor adventures, or just eating really well, this guide rounds up five great ways to celebrate her in style.
Here’s how to make it a weekend she won’t forget.
Choose a stay that feels like a treat.
Mother’s Day weekend in Vegas should feel like a mini vacation within a vacation—so don’t just book any old hotel room. Go for a luxury property that actually makes you want to hang out in the room, book a spa treatment, or linger over brunch downstairs.
Think about what matters most:
- Does the spa have the kind of treatments that feel indulgent (not just basic facials)?
- Are the onsite restaurants somewhere you’d genuinely be excited to eat at, not just convenient?
- And does the room feel like somewhere you’d want to drink coffee in a bathrobe for two hours before starting the day?
Here are the hotels that consistently deliver on all those fronts and are worth the splurge for a special occasion:
Wynn Las Vegas

Wynn Las Vegas is one of the most elegant properties on the Strip, with a seriously impressive spa, high-end dining (like SW Steakhouse, Mizumi, or even The Buffet at Wynn), and rooms that feel luxurious without being over-the-top gaudy.
It also doesn’t hurt that our favorite show, Awakening, takes place here!
The Venetian / Palazzo

All-suite rooms, excellent dining options, and the award-winning Canyon Ranch spa make this a strong choice for a weekend of pampering.
Between The Venetian and The Palazzo, you’ve got access to over 40 restaurants—ranging from casual cafes and brunch spots to upscale dining experiences like Mott 32 (modern Chinese), Matteo’s (Northern Italian), and Bouchon (a French bistro by Thomas Keller).
The entertainment lineup here is solid too. Catch Shin Lim, the world-famous sleight-of-hand magician whose show is one of the most buzzed-about on the Strip right now. Or go for something totally different with Atomic Saloon Show, a wild, irreverent, and funny Spiegelworld production set in a “Wild West” saloon that feels part circus, part variety show.
Bellagio
If Mom’s a fan of the classics, the Bellagio still nails it with its pretty fountain views, the iconic Conservatory & Botanical Gardens, and a spa that’s perfect for a relaxing reset.
Along with top-notch restaurants like Lago, Picasso, and Sadelle’s, you’ll find the best-selling Cirque du Soleil show “O” at Bellagio here.
Spoil her with a Mother’s Day Brunch.
Mother’s Day and brunch go hand in hand, no matter where you are. But Las Vegas takes this tradition to the next level with special offerings across the city. Here are some notable restaurants pulling out all the stops with their Mother’s Day brunch specials:
Anthony’s Prime Steak & Seafood (M Resort)

Lobster tails + lamb chops for breakfast? Oh yeah. For those seeking a next-level brunch experience, Anthony’s Prime delivers a Sunday-only indulgence that’s worth the splurge. The Sunday Brunch at Anthony’s offers a spread unlike any other in Vegas.
If you think this is going to be another ‘buffeteria’-like experience, think again. Everything here is chef-crafted and intentional.
Expect all-you-can-eat lobster tails, prime rib, and Beef Wellington alongside smoked Bloody Marys and omelet stations. There’s applewood-smoked bacon, French toast, roasted lamb, grilled salmon and tons more, making it a standout for Mother’s Day or any celebration demanding serious decadence.
While the cost is steep ($99 per person / $49 for kids / free for 3 and under), the unlimited premium offerings justify the splurge on Mother’s Day.
Menu Highlights:
- Lobster tails
- Prime rib
- Roasted lamb chops
- Snow crab legs, shrimp cocktail, crab claws on ice
- Lobster bisque and clam chowder
- Banana bread pudding
Nicco’s at Durango
If caviar dreams, king crab legs, and mountains of chilled seafood sound like your ideal Mother’s Day, Nicco’s at Durango Casino & Resortis rolling out the decadence—with zero restraint.
The $159 per person price tag stings, but the generous caviar station alone makes it a trophy brunch (if you’re wondering if they’re stingy with the caviar, no, they pile it on).
The menu reads like a luxury hit list: Carbonara Deviled Eggs, Chilled Seafood Display stacked with lobster, king crab, and Kumamoto oysters. Hot stations deliver Herb-Crusted Prime Rib (Mishima ultra ribeye), Colorado Rack of Lamb, and Faroe Island Salmon with Calabrian chile butter.
Classic brunch favorites like French toast, eggs Benedict, and pancakes are there too, but let’s be real: you’re here to watch Mom’s eyes widen at the caviar and crab legs. Worth it? For a once-a-year blowout, absolutely.
- Colorado Rack of Lamb
- Smoked Salmon & Caviar Station
- Seafood display (jumbo shrimp, maine lobster, king crab legs, kumamoto oysters)
- Banana Fosters French Toast
- Blueberry & Sour Cream Pancakes
The Buffet at Wynn

The Buffet at Wynn is a no-brainer for Mother’s Day brunch. You can already expect the best of the best; it’s Wynn after all.
This buffet offers endless food options, including seafood, sushi, and a carving station. You’ll find more than 90 dishes, including a wide range of made-to-order choices, 15 different food kitchens, and a delectable patisserie full of treats.
When the occasion calls for living large, the answer is always the ultimate indulgence: lobster. Upgrade to the Ultimate Buffet Experience and enjoy a one-and-a-half pound Maine lobster tail personally served tableside. This add-on includes advanced priority seating, the Endless Pour Package, and limitless visits to The Buffet during your dining experience.
Menu Highlights:
- Seafood station (crab legs, cioppino, shrimp, mussels, poke, caviar, and more)
- Carving station (prime rib, smoky barbecue choices, etc.)
- Taco station
- Maine lobster tail (available with the ‘Ultimate Buffet Experience’ upgrade)
Wicked Spoon (The Cosmopolitan)

Wicked Spoon at The Cosmopolitan is a brunch-only buffet, which makes it a very popular buffet option for Mother’s Day. Unlike traditional buffets, dishes are individually portioned in tiny ramekins and metal pans, everything delicately sauced and garnished–resembling those found in upscale restaurants.
The desserts are where it’s at for the Wicked Spoon, so save room for cakes (especially their mini chocolate lava cake) and of course, their incredible gelato.
Menu Highlights:
- Steamed crab legs
- Chicken and waffles
- Bone marrow
- The entire dessert station
Immerse her in the world of Las Vegas entertainment

Las Vegas is built for over-the-top entertainment, so treat her to a night out she’ll actually remember.
If you want a classic pick, O by Cirque du Soleil at Bellagio is a long-standing favorite with its dreamy, water-based stage and mesmerizing acrobatics.
But if you’re choosing between the premium shows, go with Awakening at Wynn—it’s just as visually impressive, packed with cutting-edge stage tech and immersive storytelling, but it comes in at a more budget-friendly price point.
While it wasn’t quite for Mother’s Day, I recently took my mom to Las Vegas for her birthday and did just this!
I planned a weekend packed with entertainment and sights: the first night was spent exploring the Neon Museum and Boneyard, the next day was dedicated to experiencing Postcards from Earth at Sphere, and our last night was by far the most jaw-dropping experience: watching Awakening at Wynn (spoiler alert: we would both 100% watch this show again; it sensory overload in the best way possible).

Surprise her with a 5-star spa treatment.

If there’s ever a time to splurge on a spa day, it’s Mother’s Day in Vegas. Two standout spots worth booking in advance:
The Spa at Encore (inside Encore Las Vegas) – a prestigious Forbes Five-Star winner known for its ultra-luxe setting and tailored treatments—try their signature Good Luck Ritual, which combines massage, foot treatment, ultra-moisturizing hand therapy, and relaxing botanical scalp treatment all in one indulgent session.
Canyon Ranch Spa (at The Venetian/Palazzo) – one of the most comprehensive wellness spas in the city—their Detoxifying Herbal Wrap is a fan favorite, and you can easily make a full day of it with access to the salt grotto, wave room, and hydrotherapy circuit.
Help her check off a bucket list adventure.

Not every mom wants to spend her weekend in a casino—and honestly, Las Vegas is one of the best bases for outdoor bucket-list experiences.
If she’s never seen the Grand Canyon, this is the moment. You can book a guided day trip (by bus or helicopter) to the Grand Canyon West Rim, which includes the Skywalk and sweeping views, all doable in one long day.
Want something even more photo-worthy? Antelope Canyon and Horseshoe Bend are further out in Page, Arizona, but there are tons of day tours that handle all the logistics for you—and yes, it’s most definitely worth the early wake-up call.
Other solid picks: Valley of Fire State Park is only about an hour from Vegas and has some of the most dramatic red rock formations you’ll ever see—think easy hiking and epic photo ops without the crowds. Or keep it closer to town with a sunrise visit to Red Rock Canyon, where you can do a scenic drive or short hike and still be back in time for brunch.
