Sir Rod’s still got it—and his Vegas shows prove it. These extra dates come after his 200th (!!!) performance at Caesars.

This immersive residency at the Sphere is unlike any other concert experience in town. With 36 total shows, including newly added final dates, this is a must-see for classic rock fans.

SEPTEMBER HIGHLIGHTS
Last chance for pool parties and fireworks

September is your final shot to soak up summer in Vegas style—with pool parties by day and fireworks by night.
By day, it’s still peak pool season. Alongside big-name dayclubs like Encore Beach Club and WET Republic, check out some new party options:
- GO Pool at Flamingo Las Vegas – Just reopened after a $20 million refresh, this budget-friendly party pool now features five pools, a swim-up bar, and 33 cabanas.
- Oasis Pool at Fontainebleau – A six-acre escape with upscale vibes, poolside gaming, and multiple bars to keep things lively.
- DAYLIGHT Beach Club at Mandalay Bay – R&B by tradition, but Saddle Club Saturdays are new for 2025—where country meets EDM under the desert sun.
Downtown, The Plaza Hotel keeps Friday nights festive with their Welcome to the Weekend fireworks series, running through the end of the month. Inspired by Disneyland-level magic, each show now kicks off with a surprise guest “TNT Igniter”—past igniters have included local heroes and celebs lighting the first spark.
You can catch the show from the Carousel Bar or make a night of it at the rooftop pool party (doors open at 7 p.m.).
iHeartRadio Music Festival

Now in its fifteenth year, the annual iHeartRadio Music Festival showcases today’s biggest names across all music genres. Held at the T-Mobile Arena, the festival delivers two nights of non-stop hits, world premieres, and unique collaborations.
Recent headliners include Dua Lipa, Billie Eilish, Post Malone, Harry Styles, and Doja Cat, making it the ultimate stage for iconic and emerging artists alike. Last year specifically featured performances from a star-studded lineup including Big Sean, Camila Cabello, Doja Cat, Gwen Stefani, Hozier, Keith Urban, New Kids on the Block, Paramore, Shaboozey, and more.
You can buy tickets on VEGAS.com or look for discounted tickets on StubHub (cheap tickets pop up pretty frequently for this event!).
Festival Dates: Sept 20-21, 2025
Las Vegas Greek Food Festival
If a weekend full of delicious Greek food sounds like a good time to you, then the Las Vegas Greek Food Festival needs to be on your September Vegas itinerary.
Touted as the largest food festival in Nevada, the Las Vegas Greek Food Festival takes place from September 26-28, 2025, at St. John the Baptist Greek Orthodox Church.
You can indulge in all kinds of authentic Greek cuisine, enjoy cultural music, and participate in traditional dances like the sirtaki. The event features an agora marketplace with unique imported jewelry and hand-crafted decor, as well as rides and games suitable for all ages.
Catch a Las Vegas Raiders home game

If you’ve never been to a pro football game in Vegas, now’s your chance. The Las Vegas Raiders play at Allegiant Stadium, just off the Strip. The energy at these games is always next-level—you’ll have fun even if you’re not a diehard fan!
The stadium itself is enough of a reason to celebrate — not only is it brand-spankin’ new, but it’s also fully enclosed with A/C (a blessing in September), plenty of food and drink options, and great views from almost every seat.
NFL Watch Parties

September means NFL season, and it’s a great time to be in town. Head to one of the countless sportsbooks to get the ultimate viewing experience, like the massive one at Circa Resort & Casino and the circular bar-style sportsbook at Durango Casino & Resort.
The football fan energy is wild in Vegas at this time. Many sportsbooks and bars even offer special happy hours, watch parties, and promotions to celebrate the NFL season. Here are a few spots to check out:
- Tom’s Watch Bar: Offers drink specials and an energetic atmosphere with multiple screens showing all the sports action.
- Beer Park at Paris Las Vegas: Enjoy rooftop views of the Strip along with drink specials and game-day food offerings.
- Blondies Sports Bar & Grill at Planet Hollywood: Known for its all-day happy hour, Blondies offers great deals on drinks and food as you binge-watch the game.
OCTOBER HIGHLIGHTS
Universal Horror Unleashed at AREA15
New as of August 2025, Universal Horror Unleashed at AREA15 brings year-round chills to Vegas—but if you ask us, October is the prime time to go.
This massive 110,000-square-foot haunted attraction features fully themed horror experiences based on classics like The Exorcist and The Texas Chain Saw Massacre.
You could go in September, but wouldn’t it be way more fun when it’s actually spooky season? Either way, bring your nerves… and maybe a bottle of water to replenish yourself after all your laughs and screams.
Reggae Rise Up Festival

Where are all my reggae music lovers at? Don’t miss the Reggae Rise Up Festival this October!
Taking place at the Downtown Las Vegas Events Center, this 3-day reggae music festival features a legendary lineup stacked with talented artists like Stick Figure, Slightly Stoopid, Rebelution, Wiz Khalifa, Dispatch, Atmosphere, Sammy Johnson, and more.
Besides the music, you can expect food trucks and unique vendors offering everything from handmade crafts to festival fashion.
Las Vegas Pride
National Pride Month may take place in June, but Las Vegas’ celebration of Pride actually kicks off in October (when the weather’s a bit cooler to be outdoors).
While there are events taking place all month long, the main event in Las Vegas is the annual Pride Night Parade, which runs through Downtown on Friday, October 10. A block party with food trucks and drink stations gets underway an hour earlier near the main stage.
When We Were Young Festival

The When We Were Young music festival is a nostalgic celebration for fans of emo, punk rock, and alternative music. Taking place at the Las Vegas Festival Grounds, this 1-day festival brings together the best bands from the early 2000s and today, creating an unforgettable experience for music lovers.
Over the last two years, headliners and lineup artists have included My Chemical Romance, Simple Plan, Paramore, Blink-182, Green Day, Avril Lavigne, Jimmy Eat World, A Day to Remember, The Maine, Cobra Starship, Taking Back Sunday, and The Used. Basically… all the music we millennials used to listen to as angsty teens!
Attendees can look forward to high-energy performances, sing-alongs, and a trip down memory lane with their favorite anthems. Because this event is so popular, they recently added a Day 2 to the festival — with the same lineup each day.
Snag your tickets here while you still can. You can also try your luck with the resale market on StubHub; discounted tickets do pop up from time to time.
NOVEMBER HIGHLIGHTS
Formula 1 (F1) Las Vegas Grand Prix

The Formula 1 Las Vegas Grand Prix is back November 20–22, and if this has been a bucket list item for you, this year is your chance to cross it off.
The entire city basically hits pause for F1. Expect road closures, heavy traffic, and a totally different pace as Vegas transforms into a world-class racing destination. The race takes over the heart of the Strip, where F1 cars hit speeds over 220 mph and rack up overtakes on one of the most exciting tracks in the sport.
For 2025, there are more ways to watch without breaking the bank, with single-day tickets starting at $50 and three-day passes from $400 in the Flamingo Zone.
New features include earlier race start times (the main race now begins at 8 p.m. Saturday), more grandstands, and exclusive zones like the Lewis Hamilton Grandstand (yes, it comes with merch).
Another major highlight? The F1 ACADEMY™, an all-female racing series, will close its season on the Las Vegas Strip Circuit—marking the first time a women’s single-seater series races on these streets.
Get tickets while you still can!
To watch the race with your own eyes, you’ll need to get tickets. There are various ticket options available, from VIP packages to grandstand seating and general admission to viewing parties. While admission starts at $375 USD on the F1 site, you may be able to find cheaper ticket options on StubHub or VEGAS.com — at the moment they have 1-, 2- or 3-day tickets for sale.
Neon City Festival
Neon City Festival, Las Vegas’ free alternative to Formula 1, is an all-ages event that takes place in Downtown Las Vegas.
The festival’s inaugural year was a hitin 2024, with live musical performances across multiple genres (last year’s lineup included The All American Rejects, Plain White T’s, Krewella, Seven Lions, Alison Wonderland), fireworks, art exhibits, and immersive experiences, all hosted in the Fremont East Entertainment District and the Arts District.
This open-format festival extends as far south as The STRAT, as far west as the Plaza Hotel & Casino, as far north as the Mob Museum, and as far east as East Fremont Street.
The Eagles at the Sphere
The Eagles conclude their historic residency at the Sphere with final performances on October 3–4, 10–11, 31, and November 1, 7–8, 2025. These shows feature a 20-song setlist accompanied by immersive visuals in one of Las Vegas’s most advanced venues.
Known for their iconic hits like “Hotel California” and “Take It Easy,” the band will deliver a residency show that combines their classic rock sound with impressive visuals and effects that only Sphere can produce.
Don’t miss this final opportunity to enjoy their timeless music at Sphere. Get your tickets here while you still can.
Tickets are selling fast!
Having a hard time finding Eagles tickets? For last-minute deals, StubHub can be a powerful tool for savings. Check for tickets on the day of (or the day before) for the largest savings.
Ticket holders often lower ticket prices at the last minute when they’re desperate to sell, so the day of the show is when you’ll find the biggest discounts!
The Lion King musical at The Smith Center
Show dates: November 19–30
Broadway’s legendary The Lion King returns to Las Vegas this fall for a limited run at The Smith Center—and it’s worth planning your trip around.
Winner of six Tony Awards including ‘Best Musical’, this production combines the unforgettable music of the 1994 film with stunning choreography, intricate costumes, and storytelling that still hits hard decades later.
Can’t make it to these shows? No worries! There’s plenty more to see at the Smith Center throughout the season.
NEW + NOTEWORTHY THINGS TO DO THIS YEAR
ARTE Museum

ARTE Museum is a digital art experience that turns massive rooms into immersive, moving works of art—all centered around the theme of eternal nature. Originally from South Korea, this wildly popular exhibition has drawn over 8 million visitors worldwide and has made its U.S. debut right here in Las Vegas.
Expect to walk through glowing forests, feel crashing waves through surround sound, and even catch a whiff of nature-inspired scents that match each exhibit. Everything—from the visuals and music to the aromas—has been crafted by award-winning artists, composers, and perfumers.
Recently, they celebrated their one-year anniversary by debuting 8 new immersive experiences. Tickets can be purchased here.
The Empire Strips Back

What started as a three-night Star Wars burlesque parody in a tiny Sydney, Australia venue is now a full-on galactic phenomenon.
The Empire Strips Back landed at the Rio on Star Wars Day (May 4), bringing campy, cheeky fun to the Strip with an intergalactic cast of characters—including Stormtroopers, droids, and some questionable uses for lightsabers.
I’m sure you’re all wondering about costumes and lightsabers–yes, you are absolutely welcome to bring your lightsaber–just don’t turn it on during the show. You’re welcome to come dressed as whoever you want, too!
Free parking is available at Rio! You’ll find showtimes all summer long from Wednesday to Monday. Tickets can be purchased here.
DiscoShow

Get ready to party like it’s 1977. Step back in time to the groovy era of the 1970s with DiscoShow, a dance party celebrating disco music and culture.
For those of you who are tired of paying hundreds of dollars just to sit in your seat during a whole Las Vegas production, this is easily the #1 show you need to consider. This new production premiered in July 2024 and is the first of its kind.
Inspired by David Mancuso’s legendary loft parties in New York City, this 60-minute immersive experience invites you to dance the night away in the Glitterloft alongside iconic characters from the disco era.
Miss Behave’s Mavericks Show

If you missed your chance to catch this show at Fremont Street’s Cheap Shot, you have been graced with a second chance: Miss Behave’s Mavericks has found a new home at Plaza Hotel’s historic showroom!
This quirky variety show blends circus, comedy, burlesque, and vaudeville. Due to its ever-changing acts and reliance on audience participation, no two shows are ever the same.
“It’s gonna be like the Muppet Show running riot round this beautiful ol’ Dame. We can’t wait,” said Miss Behave (Amy Saunders) in a media release. “It’s a marriage made in heaven. This beautiful showroom has been looking for an excuse to show off, and Mavericks is perfect for that. Let’s make Las Vegas Vegas again!”
Tickets range from $35 to $99 (no pesky ticket fees, either!).
