20 Ways To Experience Halloween In Las Vegas This Year

By Elle
Last Updated:

During the month of October, Las Vegas hosts a number of fall celebrations, parades, costume balls, and spooky events to celebrate Halloween!

For adults looking to party, you could head to AREA15’s Halloween event, scAREA15, or maybe party it up at Halloweekend at Zouk Nightclub at Resorts World Las Vegas. Slightly off-strip, there’s the not-to-be-missed Sin City Halloween Ball for people who take their creative costumes seriously.

For a more casual (and totally free) experience, The Fremont Street Experience hosts its massive weekend-long Halloween street party with live music, costume contests, and more.

Got kids with you? Don’t miss the many pumpkin patches and kid-friendly parades taking place across town.

There’s so much more to experience throughout the city — and the best part? Many of these Halloween-themed events kick off early, so you can dive into the spooky fun all month long—not just during Halloween weekend!

Because many of these events are harder to find if you’re not already in the know, we’ve created this guide to help you find the perfect event for your Halloween in Vegas.

Depending on who you’re visiting with, you can jump to the section that makes more sense for you:

Catch all your Halloween favorites like Thriller by Michael Jackson, the Stranger Things theme song, and songs from Halloween classics such as Beetlejuice, The Addams Family, Halloween, Psycho, Ghostbusters, The Rocky Horror Picture Show, and so much more.

Candlelight shows are unique as heck — where venues are illuminated by hundreds of warm and atmospheric candles — but mix it with Halloween songs? We already know it’s going to be a spectacularly magical time.

BLACKOUT is a dining-in-the-dark experience that takes you on a sensory journey like no other. In total darkness, you’ll savor a seven-course mystery meal that heightens your senses of taste, touch, smell, and hearing.

Guided by staff equipped with night-vision goggles, you’ll be seated and served without any visual distractions. Expect a pre-fixed menu featuring soup, appetizers, entrees, and desserts, all revealed only after your meal.

I’ve always wanted to do something like this, except I have no one to go with because all my friends are convinced they’re going to be fed brains or other crazy things. If this is your idea of fun, experience it for me and report back — please and thanks!
