Vegas in the summer is hot. Like, “fry-an-egg-on-the-sidewalk” hot.

While Vegas locals try to stay home and out of the heat as much as possible, visitors are drawn in. The heat doesn’t scare off tourism; it draws the crowds in.

Families roll in for summer break, kids and teens in tow. Pool party season is in full swing with dayclubs packed to the brim. Concertgoers flood the Strip for once-in-a-lifetime shows by the likes of Gaga, Backstreet Boys, and Beyoncé.

Whether you’re here to rage at a DJ set, lounge in a poolside cabana, or just soak up the summertime mayhem, here’s what’s going down in Las Vegas this summer.

POOL PARTY SEASON IS HERE!

When the temps hit triple digits, there’s only one way to beat the heat—get in the pool and turn up the vibes. Vegas pool season is serious business, and 2025 is bringing new venues, revamped oases, and high-energy daylife options across the city.

Along with the tried and true spots (like Encore Beach Club and WET Republic), here’s where to party this summer:

GO Pool at Flamingo Las Vegas

Fresh off a $20 million upgrade (basically an entire rebuild), the all-new GO Pool spans 1.5 acres with five distinct pools, a 30-seat swim-up bar, and 33 VIP cabanas. It’s made for high-energy parties and all-day lounging, with top-notch sound and lighting.

Flamingo’s is known for having some pretty fun parties, so this is a great spot to check out if you’re looking to have a good time while staying on a budget.

Oasis Pool at Fontainebleau Las Vegas

This six-acre pool district features six unique pool zones, four bars, a poolside restaurant (La Côte), and even poolside gaming. LIV Beach and Oasis Cinema Club also return for another season of upscale daylife.

DAYLIGHT Beach Club at Mandalay Bay – Saddle Club Saturdays!

DAYLIGHT is traditionally a staple dayclub spot for people who love R&B music. New for 2025, Saddle Club brings country grit and EDM hits together every Saturday starting May 3. Think cowboy boots, bass drops, and a party that keeps you two-stepping under the Vegas sun.

Palms Pool at Palms

Free entry. Free parking. Free cabanas for locals Monday through Thursday. Palms Pool is hands down one of the best-kept secrets for a VIP poolside vibe without the VIP price tag.

Kassi Beach Club at Virgin Hotels Las Vegas

A Mediterranean-inspired escape just off the Strip, offering free entry all season and the full Kassi Beach House menu. Chill setting, great food, and no cover—perfect combo.

Bel-Aire Backyard at Durango Casino & Resort

Bel-Aire Backyard (an off-Strip gem, in our opinion) mixes laid-back fun with a luxury feel. Expect Aloha Fridays, Sunday Fundays, live DJs, a new concert series, and even pickleball—because why not?

Fireworks All Month Long

If you’re in town for July 4th, you’ll find fireworks lighting up the sky across the Las Vegas Valley. On the Strip, you’ll find the fireworks show happening at Caesars Palace.

If you miss the Fourth, The Plaza Hotel downtown keeps the celebration going with their Welcome to the Weekend fireworks series every Friday night through the end of September.

These fireworks shows, inspired by the magic of Disneyland, have been kicked up a notch this year — each show kicks off with a special guest—the TNT Igniter—a surprise celebrity or local hero lighting the first spark.

You can watch from the hotel’s Carousel Bar or the rooftop pool party (doors open at 7 p.m.).

You can find a list of this year’s 4th of July celebrations in our July guide.

Kick off the NFL preseason

August brings the start of the NFL season in Las Vegas! Well, the preseason at least. Nevertheless, people are excited for this!

There are countless sportsbooks you could post up at, like the massive one at Circa Resort & Casino and the one at Durango Casino & Resort, which features a circular bar offering an immersive viewing experience! A lot of these sportsbooks / bars offer special happy hours, watch parties, and promotions to celebrate the start of the preseason, too.

You can even try to catch a live Raiders game at Allegiant Stadium.

The Wizard of Oz at Sphere

The classic 1939 film gets a massive immersive upgrade at Sphere Las Vegas starting August 28, 2025.

Developed with Warner Bros. Discovery, Google, and Magnopus, this new experience transforms the movie into a 360-degree, full-sensory ride. Expect “tornadoes” you can feel and flying monkeys that actually move through the venue.

Insomniac + Tomorrowland Team Up for UNITY

Sphere | August 29–31, 2025 | Tickets: VEGAS.com / StubHub

In a first-of-its-kind move, Insomniac (EDC) and Tomorrowland (Belgium’s iconic fest) are teaming up to launch UNITY—a massive audiovisual experience debuting at Sphere Las Vegas from August 29–31, 2025.

Think cutting-edge visuals, nonstop beats, and a festival atmosphere without the dirt or dust.

NEW + NOTEWORTHY THINGS TO DO THIS YEAR

Fontainebleau’s 2025 Signature Series

Want to do more than just eat and drink your way through Vegas? Fontainebleau Las Vegas is bringing back its Signature Series for 2025—an exclusive lineup of interactive classes and insider experiences led by the resort’s top chefs, sommeliers, and wellness pros.

A couple to put on your radar:

  • The Art of Sushi – Go behind the scenes with Komodo’s Head Sushi Chef Sung Dae Hong to learn what really goes into perfect sushi rice and precision sashimi slicing. The experience ends with a 3-course dinner and sake pairing.
  • Champagne & Oysters – Master Sommelier Kevin Reilly walks you through a guided tasting that pairs premium bubbles with fresh oysters and elegant bites from Chef Laëtitia Rouabah.

DiscoShow

Get ready to party like it’s 1977. Step back in time to the groovy era of the 1970s with DiscoShow, a dance party celebrating disco music and culture.

For those of you who are tired of paying hundreds of dollars just to sit in your seat during a whole Las Vegas production, this is easily the #1 show you need to consider. This new production premiered in July 2024 and is the first of its kind.

Inspired by David Mancuso’s legendary loft parties in New York City, this 60-minute immersive experience invites you to dance the night away in the Glitterloft alongside iconic characters from the disco era.

Miss Behave’s Mavericks Show

If you missed your chance to catch this show at Fremont Street’s Cheap Shot, you have been graced with a second chance: Miss Behave’s Mavericks has found a new home at Plaza Hotel’s historic showroom!

This quirky variety show blends circus, comedy, burlesque, and vaudeville. Due to its ever-changing acts and reliance on audience participation, no two shows are ever the same.

“It’s gonna be like the Muppet Show running riot round this beautiful ol’ Dame. We can’t wait,” said Miss Behave (Amy Saunders) in a media release. “It’s a marriage made in heaven. This beautiful showroom has been looking for an excuse to show off, and Mavericks is perfect for that. Let’s make Las Vegas Vegas again!”

Tickets range from $35 to $99 (no pesky ticket fees, either!).
