During the month of October, Las Vegas hosts a number of fall celebrations, parades, costume balls, and spooky events to celebrate Halloween!

For adults looking to party, you could head to AREA15’s Halloween event, scAREA15, or maybe party it up at Halloweekend at Zouk Nightclub at Resorts World Las Vegas. Slightly off-strip, there’s the not-to-be-missed Sin City Halloween Ball for people who take their creative costumes seriously.

For a more casual (and totally free) experience, The Fremont Street Experience hosts its massive weekend-long Halloween street party with live music, costume contests, and more.

Got kids with you? Don’t miss the many pumpkin patches and kid-friendly parades taking place across town.

There’s so much more to experience throughout the city — and the best part? Many of these Halloween-themed events kick off early, so you can dive into the spooky fun all month long—not just during Halloween weekend!

Because many of these events are harder to find if you’re not already in the know, we’ve created this guide to help you find the perfect event for your Halloween in Vegas.

Depending on who you’re visiting with, you can jump to the section that makes more sense for you:

Halloween In Las Vegas: Things To Do For Adults

Universal Horror Unleashed at AREA15

New as of August 2025, Universal Horror Unleashed at AREA15 brings year-round chills to Vegas—but if you ask us, October is the prime time to go!

If you’ve ever wished Halloween lasted all year, Universal Horror Unleashed will be your new Vegas hangout spot. Built by the same masterminds behind Universal Studios’ legendary Halloween Horror Nights, this attraction drops you into four fully themed haunted houses: The Texas Chainsaw Massacre, Universal Monsters, The Exorcist: Believer, and Scarecrow: The Reaping.

Each house has Hollywood-quality sets, jump scares around every corner, and live actors who make sure no two runs are ever the same.

Between houses, you can wander through four immersive scare zones packed with twisted carnival performers, haunted props that come to life, and creepy characters waiting to jump out at you (and yes, half the fun is laughing at your friends when they get spooked).

Candlelight: A Haunted Evening of Halloween Classics

Candlelight Concerts

Wanna get spooky in a classical music kind of way?

Candlelight concerts bring the magic of a live, multi-sensory musical experience to awe-inspiring locations like never seen before in Las Vegas. For two days only, discover Halloween-inspired music at The Industrial under the gentle glow of candlelight.

Catch all your Halloween favorites like Thriller by Michael Jackson, the Stranger Things theme song, and songs from Halloween classics such as Beetlejuice, The Addams Family, Halloween, Psycho, Ghostbusters, The Rocky Horror Picture Show, and so much more.

Candlelight shows are unique as heck — where venues are illuminated by hundreds of warm and atmospheric candles — but mix it with Halloween songs? We already know it’s going to be a spectacularly magical time.

2026 Dates: October 30

Shadows of Sin City – Walking Ghost Tour

While we’re on the topic of Halloween, why not celebrate the spooky szn and explore the Strip at the same time?

Ghost City Tours hosts a super unique walking tour in town, where chilling tales and haunted spots come alive under the neon lights. Led by expert storytellers, this walking ghost tour promises an unforgettable night of spooks and thrills. Perfect for those who love a good ghost story!

Locations you’ll visit during this 90 minute tour include The Mob Museum, Binion’s Gambling Hall & Hotel, and El Cortez Hotel.

I don’t know about you, but ghost stories are always much scarier with a couple of drinks in you!

Ghost Stories at 1923 Prohibition Bar

1923 Prohibition Bar Las Vegas

Get into the Halloween spirit with Ghost Stories at 1923 Prohibition Bar, a perfectly themed event for the spooky season. This one’s great for people who want eerie ghost stories paired with a handcrafted cocktail.

In a secret chamber, hidden behind the 1923 Prohibition Bar in Las Vegas, Kent Axell performs feats of mind reading and magic, immersing the audience in the creation of a live ghost story.

Taking place every Friday, Saturday and Sunday, this dark (yet somehow still fun!) magic show blends dreams and nightmares into a chillingly immersive experience. If you’re put off by large, overly-dramaticized productions like those of Criss Angel and the old David Copperfield magic shows, this intimate show is a great one to catch.

The venue itself is a hidden speakeasy inside Mandalay Bay that’ll transport you back to the 1920s with its bourbon-focused menu, vintage decor, and live entertainment, including burlesque dancers and piano players.

Don’t miss your opportunity to enjoy scary stories and mind games in this swanky venue — this intimate parlor show is for a limited time only.

2026 Dates: Fridays, Saturdays, and Sundays until Dec 2026

The action-packed party features free nightly entertainment, a silent disco, food trucks, epic-people watching, a must-see costume contest, high-flying rides on SlotZilla, and the world-famous Viva Vision Light Show.

This year the costume contest is called Costumes Under The Canopy. There’s always a sweet prize pot for costume contest winners, so come dressed to the nines for this one!

The Sin City Halloween Ball (formerly the Fetish & Fantasy Halloween Ball) is a 21+ event held at The Theater at Virgin Hotels Las Vegas.

While many events across Vegas are costume-optional, this event does things differently.

Costumes are mandatory. Attendees are encouraged to embrace their wild, creative side without everyday constraints—whether that means sexy, outrageous, or playful attire.

With attendees from all over the world, this event is an ideal way to explore your secret self, make some new friends, and see some things you don’t see every day.

Known for constant entertainment and surprises, it’s a party that lives up to its reputation as “one of the world’s wildest Halloween events.” Be sure to dress to impress, as YOU are the show. You’ll wanna grab your tickets early as they tend to sell out!

If you’ve tried one before, just know that the ones in Las Vegas are next level. If you’re into a slight horror mix, try the IT-themed (yes, the scary clown from the movie) or SAW-themed escape rooms for an extra fun experience — especially if someone in your group gets scared super easily!

There’s also another highly-rated horror-themed escape room called The Basement, with unbelievable realism and live performers. Once you master this one, try out the sequel room called The Study!

2026 Dates: Available year-round.

This offbeat museum showcases an impressive collection of movie monsters, screen-used props, and special makeup effects, all created by professional artist Tom Devlin.

At the museum, you can explore the art and history behind iconic horror characters and even take home a couple of monstrous souvenirs.

Tom Devlin’s Monster Museum is located in the historic Boulder City, between Las Vegas and the Hoover Dam. All ages are welcome. Tickets can be purchased here.

Haunted Brunch at House Of Blues

Haunted Brunch Mandalay Bay

Wanna enjoy a brunch buffet with a show fitting for the Halloween holiday? Over the course of October, Haunted Brunch delivers an immersive brunch with horror movie nods, dancers, acrobats, and jump scares, all hosted by comedian Hailey Brooks (as seen on the stage at Jimmy Kimmels Comedy Club) as your “Spirit-Guide”.

If you’re on the fence about what this one will be like, we recommend checking out their IG page to see if the vibes are right for you. It’s not actually scary.

This limited-time brunch event takes place at The Venue at Rio Hotel & Casino. The menu features breakfast favorites like eggs, sausages, frittatas, pancakes, etc. But most importantly, bottomless mimosas!

Haunted House Attraction: Hotel Fear

Enter the twisted history of Hotel Fear, where the eerie past of the Feoray family continues to haunt its halls.

Once a promising hotel meant to serve visitors to the nearby Meadview Asylum, the hotel turned into a site of tragedy when Mortimer Feoray, believed to be cured of his mental condition, snapped and killed everyone inside—except for one mysterious guest in Room 13. Now, visitors brave enough to stay at the hotel may encounter the lingering spirits of the Feoray Incident. Are you ready to face the fear?

Technically there is no age limit for this haunted house attraction, but we suggest not bringing kids who are easily frightened!

Tickets can be purchased here. Tickets include admission to both haunted house experiences: Asylum and Hotel Fear!

2026 Dates: October 2 – Nov 1, Thursdays to Sundays

Haunted House Attraction: Asylum

Once you’re done with Hotel Fear, it’s time to keep the fun going. Step inside the infamous Meadview Asylum, a once-revered mental health facility now shrouded in sinister rumors.

After the tragic deaths of Dr. Vander and his family, the Asylum fell into decay, only to be revived by his nephew with the backing of a mysterious government agency. With whispers of genetic experiments and strange activities behind closed doors, the Asylum now offers curious visitors a glimpse inside. Just be careful—the power may flicker, and what’s locked away might not stay contained!

Tickets can be purchased here.

2026 Dates: October 2 – Nov 1, Thursdays to Sundays

Zombie Burlesque

I know, super weird concept, right? For a truly unique and Halloween-ish experience, don’t miss Zombie Burlesque at Planet Hollywood.

Combining comedy, music, and burlesque, this one-of-a-kind show takes audiences on a journey to post-apocalyptic Las Vegas, where zombies and showgirls rule the stage.

The craziest thing? The Zombie Burlesque show is available all year round (not just during the Halloween season)! Get your tickets here.

Haunted Heights at Circa Las Vegas

Step into the spooky sophistication of Circa Las Vegas’ Legacy Club for the Haunted Heights event on October 31st. With a live DJ, light bites, and an open bar featuring unlimited beer, wine, spirits, and specialty cocktails, this rooftop party offers a night of thrilling fun.

Indulge in passed apps and desserts while you dance the night away in your best Halloween costume. Speaking of… costumes aren’t just suggested—they’re expected! (If your costume is good enough, you might just take home the $5,000 costume prize pot.)

2026 Dates: October 31, 8pm

BLACKOUT Dining In The Dark

Blackout Dining In The Dark Las Vegas

While not a Halloween-themed event per se, this one’s still a lot of fun for people who want to have a fun meal during their trip.

BLACKOUT is a dining-in-the-dark experience that takes you on a sensory journey like no other. In total darkness, you’ll savor a seven-course mystery meal that heightens your senses of taste, touch, smell, and hearing.

Guided by staff equipped with night-vision goggles, you’ll be seated and served without any visual distractions. Expect a pre-fixed menu featuring soup, appetizers, entrees, and desserts, all revealed only after your meal.

I’ve always wanted to do something like this, except I have no one to go with because all my friends are convinced they’re going to be fed brains or other crazy things. If this is your idea of fun, experience it for me and report back — please and thanks!

2026 Dates: Available year-round.
