As of July 16, 2024, The Mirage is closed as the resort begins its transformation into the Hard Rock Las Vegas.
The Mirage, now owned and operated by Hard Rock International, is an exotic Polynesian paradise on the Las Vegas Strip that has been dazzling guests since its opening in 1989. The Mirage’s iconic history began as the Strip’s first megaresort and continues to offer guests an exotic world-class destination unlike any other.
The resort featured contemporary accommodations, dynamic entertainment including The Beatles LOVE by Cirque du Soleil, Shin Lim: LIMITLESS and the Aces of Comedy series, and tantalizing restaurants created by the world’s most renowned chefs including Tom Colicchio.
Location
Centrally located on the Las Vegas Strip, The Mirage puts you near top resorts and attractions like The Venetian, Caesars Palace, and the Fashion Show Mall. The resort also connects directly to Treasure Island via a pedestrian bridge.
With the monorail station right on site, you can easily access various hotels and casinos up and down the Strip. The Mirage’s location gives you the best of both worlds – convenience to key spots on the Strip while maintaining a peaceful ambiance.
Casino
Casino games include Blackjack, Craps, Roulette, Baccarat, Pai Gow, Pai Gow Poker, Let It Ride, Caribbean Stud Poker, Poker, Keno, 2,245 slot machines including Megabucks and Super Megabucks. The casino also has a poker room as well as a 269-seat race and sports book, equipped with massive HD TV screens.
Rooms
The 3,044 rooms and suites at The Mirage feature contemporary decor with dark wood furnishings and slight pops of color. Floor-to-ceiling windows treat you to Strip or pool views. While the plush beds are dressed in imported linens and down pillows and comforters, the rooms do feel a bit dated.
Bathrooms, on the other hand, look more timeless. The bathrooms are clad in Italian marble and stocked with Botanicals amenities. Upgraded rooms add extra perks like a minibar and sitting area.
Entertainment
The Mirage’s iconic volcano has been erupting regularly since the resort opened, mesmerizing crowds with flames shooting high into the air. There were also the following shows:
- Cirque du Soleil’s The Beatles LOVE – Celebrating the best of The Beatles with the grace that can only be done by Cirque du Soleil.
- Shin Lim: LIMITLESS – Starring Shin Lim, the only person ever to win ‘America’s Got Talent’ TWICE, you will be mesmerized by his incredible sleight of hand and his ability to manipulate objects.
Restaurants
With over 15 restaurants and cafes, The Mirage satisfies every craving. Tom Colicchio’s Heritage Steak pays homage to American cuisine, while Osteria Costa will bring you back to grandma’s kitchen as you indulge in traditional Neapolitan pizzas, handmade pastas, fresh seafood, and much more.
Other options range from casual fare at Paradise Cafe or Pantry to sushi at Otoro. The Rhumbar Tropical Ultra Lounge is a fun little splot to get tiki drinks while dancing to the bumping music around you!
Pools
The tropical pool area features lagoons, waterfalls, and palms, transporting you to a Polynesian paradise. Adults can enjoy the European-style Bare Pool Lounge while families make a splash at the Beach Club pool. Private cabanas with TVs and refrigerators are available to rent.
Spa Services
The Spa & Salon offers a variety of treatments to help you detox, improve your skin appearance or simply unwind. The 20,000 square-foot spa features 16 treatment rooms including 12 dedicated massage rooms, 3 facial rooms and a couples treatment room. Also included are separate gentleman and ladies locker rooms and lounges with a steam room, sauna, whirlpools and relaxing meditation rooms.
