Ole Red
How does listening to live country music all day sound? Ole Red Las Vegas, situated at the intersection of Las Vegas Boulevard and Flamingo Road, promises an unforgettable honky-tonk experience.
This lifestyle and entertainment brand, inspired by Blake Shelton’s clever hit song, “Ol’ Red”, now has a location right here in Vegas. Since its opening in early 2024, it has become a home base for country music lovers.
The venue’s first and second floors offer a relaxed dining atmosphere during the day and transform into a lively honky-tonk complete with dance floors and VIP areas at night. The third floor provides a sophisticated lounge space for overflow dining and private events, while the rooftop offers swanky restaurant vibes by day and a fancy lounge experience by night.
The main stage features a 40-foot screen, giving you a kick-ass country experience no matter where you sit. If you’re looking for a more exclusive party, then the rooftop stage is for you.

Gilley’s Saloon, Dance Hall & Bar-B-Que at Treasure Island
Gilley’s Saloon, Dance Hall & Bar-B-Que invites you to step into a world where the Wild West meets Vegas flair. Grab a seat on a saddle at the bar, order up some barbecue, and get ready to two-step and line dance the night away to the tunes of a live band.
From mouthwatering baby back ribs to hearty cowboy burgers and spicy chili, you’ll want to fuel up for a ride on the mechanical bull – if you dare!
Or, if you want to throw back some cold beers while two-stepping and line-dancing with your partner on the wood floor without much regard, you can do that too. Oh, did we mention that line dancing lessons are also provided every day?
Gilly’s BBQ opens every day for breakfast, lunch, and dinner. With its lively atmosphere and down-home hospitality, Gilley’s promises a really good time each and every night.
PRO TIP: Are you a Nevada local? Gilley’s Saloon has lots of local specials at any given time. You can check them all out here.
Location: Treasure Island Hotel & Casino, 3300 Las Vegas Blvd S, Las Vegas, NV 89109
Itinerary Idea
Start your evening with a show, then head over to Gilley’s to keep the fun going! Treasure Island is also home to the OG Cirque du Soleil show, Mystère. Since its premiere in 1993, this show has dazzled over 15 million spectators.
Losers Bar at MGM Grand
Losers Bar is a laid-back country bar that has become an institution in Nashville. You can now enjoy the same relaxed atmosphere with a side of Southern hospitality in Vegas!
Spending a few hours here means spending the evening with Nashville country music artists at an intimate, no-frills venue for live performances. You never know which celebrities may pop up on the Losers’ stage! For the latest happenings, be sure to check out their calendar to see who’s performing.
Losers offers live music from the afternoon until late night (plus a large dance floor) and a selection of classic spirits as well as a variety of beers on tap. They also have some of the best drink deals on the Strip!
Location: Located in The District at MGM Grand, 3799 S Las Vegas Blvd, Las Vegas, NV 89109
Stoney’s Rockin’ Country at Town Square Las Vegas
Okay, this one’s not actually on the Strip, but it’s 100% worth mentioning. Known for its spacious dance floor, live music, and energetic crowd, Stoney’s Rockin’ Country is a really popular local spot for country music lovers.
Located in Town Square (just a tad south of the Las Vegas Strip), Stoney’s is a sprawling 20,000 square feet of entertainment space, perfect for line dancing.
Dance lessons are offered on Thursday, Friday, and Saturday nights before the club gets too packed. You’ll be able to learn all the steps to the most popular songs so that you’re ready for the real deal by the time the music is bumping at prime time.
They also have a mechanical bull, beer games, great service, and an all-around great country party atmosphere.
Thursday nights are renowned for the World Famous Ladies Night, featuring $2 drinks and Bikini Bull Riding every 1st Thursday of the month, while Fridays showcase live country music performances from emerging Nashville artists.
With special nights dedicated to military, first responders, teachers, and nurses, Stoney’s is the perfect inclusive (and affordable!) experience for both locals and vsitors.
Location: 6611 Las Vegas Blvd S Ste 160 Las Vegas, NV 89119
Itinerary Idea
There are two other things we’d recommend in Town Square:
- Master Kim’s Korean BBQ – This is our all-time favorite all-you-can-eat KBBQ joint in Vegas! (But keep that to yourself 😉)
- PopStroke – A great mini-golf spot with great food and drinks. They have two 18-hole mini-golf courses, a children’s play area, corn hole, and other yard games.
Horse Trailer Hideout
If the sounds of a street country chic western-themed speakeasy bar with cocktails, local live music, cornhole leagues, games, and bar bites sound like your idea of a good time, then venture just a bit off-Strip to downtown for Horse Trailer Hideout!
If you’re an out-of-towner, you probably haven’t heard of it. It’s more of a local spot, but totally worth checking out if you’re looking for a more relaxed atmosphere to grab a drink or two.
If you’re imagining a dive bar, you’d be quite off. Horse Trailer Hideout has a bar program of craft cocktails, elevated wines, and beers influenced by local ingredients. Yup, the drinks are actually good and well thought out!
They have a little patio upfront, as well as a huge patio out back with cornhole and other types of fun lawn games to play. Inside, you’ll often find a live country band playing, lots of places to sit, and even a free popcorn machine! Hideaway also hosts weekly events including line dancing lessons, karaoke, and more.
Location: 3369 Thom Blvd, Las Vegas, NV 89130
Hogs & Heifers Saloon
Hogs & Heifers Saloon is quite the lively country/biker-themed dive bar just off the Strip in downtown Las Vegas.
If you’re looking for a quiet drink or craft cocktails, this is NOT the place for you—but if you’re up for a rowdy, biker-friendly atmosphere, you’ll have a blast.
Think of Coyote Ugly, but in real life. What that means is that you’ll get a LOT of personality here. The bartenders are feisty and fun, often dancing on top of the bar or giving customers a hard time (in a good way) with bullhorns and all.
Music-wise, you’ll get a mix of rock and country. From time to time, they host special events, from live music and themed parties to bike nights and other fun gatherings.
It’s the perfect spot to grab a beer and enjoy the show, but be ready for a loud and wild experience!
Other Bars For Country Music Lovers
PBR Rock Bar & Grill
Combining a country vibe with a rock ‘n’ roll atmosphere, PBR Rock Bar offers live music and a mechanical bull. Their latest location inside Planet Hollywood Resort & Casino is no more, but they are working to relocate elsewhere in Vegas at the moment!
Location: TBD
Whiskey Down at MGM Grand
While not exclusively a country bar, Whiskey Down at MGM Grand offers a sophisticated ambiance with a wide selection of whiskey and live music on certain nights, making it a good option for country music fans looking for a more upscale experience on the Las Vegas Strip.
Location: Located in MGM Grand, 3799 S Las Vegas Blvd, Las Vegas, NV 89109
